The Getaway

THE GETWAY
SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMEN AMERICA
DIRECTED BY BRENDAN MCNAMARA

This is a great RPG wear you play both good and bad. You play as an ex gangsta Mark Hammmond and a police officer, Frank Carter. These two are both tied up in the simular situation dealing with the same Head Gangsta, Charlie Jolson, who is not only trying to ruin there lives, but take over the city as well.

The game starts out as Mark Hammond left the gangster lifestyle in order to raise his son and be with his wife. Well Charlie Jolson did not like this so he sent out his men to capture his son. In the process of this, Mark Hammond's wife was killed so Mark was in a firey anger to get his son back and kill all those who stop him including his own friends.

On the other spectrum you play as a cop, Frank Carter, who is trying to stop crime in his city and to bring down Charlie Jolson. He eventually finds out Marks story and they pair up along with other people along  the way to defeat Charlie Jolson and the other gangs that get dragged into the maddness that goes on within this game. This game is a great RPG that is open game play> if you like any of the games in the GTA series then this is the game for you. It is an open relm where you can do the mission or rome the streets.

The controls for the game are basic and are not hard to get used to. They are basic too other shooters as R1 is the auro lock on button and you hit the action button to shoot. The healing process is different which makes this game very likeable because it is different from other games. When you heal you do not get a health pack or eat somthing to get your health bar up. In this you do not have a health bar. When you are hurting or injured you can lean upon a car or wall until your character is done then he is healed. Your outfit will be bloodstained when u are injured and u will walk slower. You are healthy when you have clean cloths and have good stamina.
